The Muncipality of Moalboal is situated 90km Southwest of Cebu City. The trip there from the City takes you over the spectacular mountains, that devides the island North to South. Moalboal is the actual town, but most people stays and hangs out down by Panagsama Beach, 3km from town proper. A tricycle or a habal-habal will bring you down to Panagsama. There you will have a wide range of diveshops, resort, restaurants and bars awaiting you. Neptune Diving is one of the more known diveshops around, manage by Swedish Jesper. For adventure seekers, Planet Action Adventures and Boss Jochen will take you on. After your dive and action, the nighly sins begins. Lantaw Restaurant above Neptune and Last Filling Station is two good places to stuff yourself. Best and most busy bar hangout is Chili Bar. There you will find a very well stocked bar, serving ice cold beers, cocktails, pooltables, great music, and lots of happy partypeople. Chili Bar throws a 8-ball tournament every Wednesday.

Cebu and Moalboal area is a perfect base for exploring the surroundigs on a motorbike or bicycle. The spectacular mountains will give you a unforgettable experience and nature at its best beauty. Rent a motorcycle or bicycle on the beach, and start exploring. Another popular daytrip is to the Kawasan Falls. A series of waterfalls, around 35km South of Moalboal. White Beach and Orchard Gallery is two other places to visit in Moalboal. Mondays and Fridays gathers the Homeboys for some football action. Scuba diving and snorkeling is spectacular and easy accesed from various parts of the housereef or to the famous divespot of Pescador Island. Whalesharks are a known visitor, and bring your camera for the Micro Diving. Theres a Pygmee Seahorse around every corner.
