HONG KONG and CHINA
China was the first country I ended up in, after the Transibirian Railroad trip in 1989. The cultural shock hit me like a sledgehammer, and that was, ofcourse exactly what I was looking for. Rough and tuff to start with, but pretty soon, you felt like the luckiest 18 year old in the world, being in China, on a great adventure. So far I visited China 5 times, and many more is to come.
